Nom nom nom: dates stuffed with Chroizo and Feta

In Seattle I had Salumi, in Portland I have Olympic Provisions to sate my charcuterie cravings. I originally picked up their Chorizo Rioja for a recipe, but I’m loving slicing it thin and shoving it into a date along with a pinch of feta. I’m loving it so I may just eat that for dinner tonight instead of leftovers.

    I added dates last night to a mixture of red pepper, onion and too much Turkish pepper. Dates would calm it down, along with a little canned pumpkin – and then I added some cream cheese. Whenever I use dates as an ingredient, “one of many,” I’m pleased.
